BEGINNERS

You can experience the thrill of diving – a mix of excitement and adventure, a sense of freedom and serenity – while being closely supervised by your own devoted instructor.

Nothing compares to the pleasure of breathing underwater while feeling ‘’weightless’’. Make your fantasy a reality by experiencing the magic of sea life in the gorgeous waters of Kalypso!

The day begins with a short briefing, after which you will have plenty of time to get to know the diving gear, with the assistance of expert personnel on the beach.

You will first step into shallow water with your dedicated instructor and practice on the surface.

Then, you will both begin your descend to a maximum depth of 9 meters (adults) or 6 meters (kids). The underwater life in the Libyan Sea is abundant, with many colorful fish that can be seen in their natural habitat, as well as octopuses, big shells, starfish and an amazing landscape.

Professional photographer is available to follow you underwater and take pictures during your dive. At the end of the day, you will be able to take the many fun pictures of your dive with you!

Minimum age: 10 years

CERTIFIED DIVERS

The selected dive sites are ideal for both expert and new divers. The visibility in the crystal-clear water reaches 30m, at an ideal temperature, without current or tidal movement.

All of the dives take place under the guidance of an experienced Divemaster or Instructor, in small groups based on diving experience. Deeper dives along the Kalypso walls are available for experienced divers.

Professional photographer is available to follow you underwater and take pictures during your dive.

SNORKELING

Join the qualified Divemasters and Instructors on a guided tour.

After a brief theory session on how to use the equipment, you will get a 45-minute guided tour in the sea in small groups. You start in very shallow water and will progressively swim around the bay. After the guided tour, you may use your snorkeling equipment all day and return to the sea for extra enjoyment.

The lively life beneath the surface of Kalypso Pirate’s Fjord begins at a depth of 2 meters. The water is crystal-clear, with visibility reaching 30 meters. You will also be able to see a minivan car wreck lying on the seabed at 15m and a section of a small ship wreck lying on the bottom of the canyon at 23m. Both are visible from the surface!

You have the opportunity to take a professional photographer underwater with you and have pictures taken during your dive.

There are no age restrictions, children must simply be able to fit into the equipment.
