Tour Overview

The second most famous gorge in Crete, most picturesque and full of wildness. Enjoy a 3 hours walk of 7km which leads to south coast and a well deserved swim in the Libyan Sea. It is not as well known as the parallel gorge of Samaria but it is easier to walk through and ideal for families with children.

Begins from the village of Imbros at 750m height and ends a little before the Libyan Sea, outside the village of Komitades in the region of Sfakia.

You can relax, enjoy traditional Cretan food and swim at the Libyan Sea either at Sfakia or Frangokastello.
